Radical Lovers Internship Testimonies

It helped me in stewarding my time with God well and teaching me about fasting. It helped me in discerning His voie and looking for confirmation in Scriptures, signs, and people. I learn a more thourough description of the valiity of women in leadership. I learned about the demonic spirits which I never had been taught about in such depth. I learned the way you prepare yourself in prayer and identify them and cast them out. To pray with confidence and cast them out. I learned to new degrees the extravagant and patient love of Jesus in interpreting the Song of Solomon. I learned how this can be applied to dreams. It has helped me with my relationship with God by giving me a foundation of my identity in Him-- knowing as soon as I come to Him He is already pleased and in love with me. It brings me to Him more readily and frequently instead of keeping me from Him by feeling unworthy and ashamed. It has brought me to new depths of love and trust in Him. It has helped me with my family in teaching me to display more of His patience and grace with them. It has helped in being able to identify strongholds in my family and cast them off. TO know the importance of removing all bitterness and unforgiveness in our relationships so the enemy has no open door. At work it has given me more boldness to proclaim my faith - I have been overcoming my fear of man. I had confidence to pray with families I worked with. Everything was helpful. Especially identity, inheritance, power passages, knowing the truth of the Word and walking in it. Identifying demonic spirits deliverance training. Interpreting song of Solomon. Learning about revival history of God moving through revivalists and [some of] their short-comings. 1 hour of prayer per day and fasting. Everything :). This is good for people who struggling with knowing their identity in God, people who are hungry to experience God more.

[I have learned] lots.  Interpreting symbols in Scripture, the demonic realm, deliverance. It gave me good guidelines to spend time with Him and to overcome obstacles in how I think about Him. It helped me love my co-wokers more and recognize the demonic forces working on myself and office. It has helped me to love my friends more, family more, and apply it in the workplace. Interpreting Scriptures, learning about the demonic or territorial spirits, inheritance passages was [the most helpful for me]. [I would recommend this internship to] any peson who is interested in deepening their relationship with Him an want a good overview of how to properly live the Christian life. It might not be for someone who is new in the faith, but who has been a Christian for some time and want a deeper understanding.

I felt I lost identity of what it was that is me… I also wanted to understand the prophetic and interpret dreams and visions and take authority over demons and do deliverance on people. [I wanted to learn about] drawing closer to the Lord in intimacy to reach the nations as a missionary.

I learned a lot of new things. I learned about deliverance session how to identify the root of the problem....

I learned how to love people through their weaknesses and not be judgmental of people and myself and realize how He sees me and empower me as I am. If I take a hold of that identity, I can see others. It's not my strength but my identity in Christ…

It has given me great boldness in my prayer. I know that when I ask, God will answer me. I can do anything that He asks me to do. I don't have doubts in my mind that I am who He says that I am… as in that I am righteous… I feel I have a really strong hold on what righteousness is and nothing can change that. I learned how to discern people and where they are at… much greater understanding on how to people are broken as well as to bear with them through brokenness..

The best thing it has done because of the discernmen, it taught me how to discern the root and understand what is causing it. Because I understand, I have grace on them. It helps them and advocate for their identity when I understand what is going on. My lack of understanding made me very impatient. When now I understand why they do what they do, I can actually help them. My frustration was feeling empowerless or be able to do anything about it before. I am much less easily offendable because why they act the way they do. I see it as a past hurt. It has helped me a lot with people, and doesn't bother people when people have issues toward me or others cause I get it.

It has helped me in ministry, enabled me to handle my leaders, be able to walk aside them and minister to them as well. It helped me be a better steward what God has given me to steward. Because of discernment, I have much wiser decisions on how to deal with people. In specific instance gossip and sound instructions and where it was coming from and my leader how this girl was hurt. When I pray into things, God would reveal things to me because I can steward things with love so much for people in a way that everything I do is out of love… When I do things prophetic, it is from foundation of love and assist them in their destiny and who they are. I think as a leader, it has kept me making a lot of mistakes in the form of being a leader or method… I don't things based on a method but discernment of the heart of where they are at and particular circumstance they are in… based on what the Holy Spirit is doing and what would be best for them in the long run.

One specific instance a certain leader in our church lashed out at me, misunderstood somethings that happened. I was able to pray into it and go to that leader after I received clarity, I was able to bring correction while still being respectable and helping them understand from where it came back using the HAMBURGER method in conflict. That was a huge deal that saved a lot of future problems. I was able to draw the line in a wise and loving way and a line of respect."

Daniel Winkowitsch:

"I met a Samoan guy at a park and I identified who he was in his identity as an evangelist… I shared how he got broken. I diserned what was broken. He said it was because of his brother… began explaining to him who he was that he loved his brother deeply. I discerned his heart and advocated for his identity… I prophesied to him who he is called to be in a godly lifestyle to all mankind.

Knowing how to discern when in checking your heart… finding the heart of true discernment is through love, and not having a woundedness in your own hurt to know that the flesh is not tainting the prophetic.

I would recommend the internship to those who are called in leadership, those going to leadership, in church and in marketplace and potentially broken people.

Another instance was dealing with individuals that were in the past with their prophetic dreams and visions… difference between accusations and the prophetic word of God.  It was during the season the truth of what was happening with the individuals that had dreams or visions that had accusations toward other leaders. I understood where they were getting that and how they were hearing it accurately and it had to do with brokenness. That was extremely important to do with the direction of my life and make wise decisions and hear clearly from the lord.
